Early Life and Family
KH. Nawawi Abdul Aziz was born on 17 July 1925, corresponding to 25 Dhu al-Hijjah 1343 AH, in Tulusrejo Village, Grabag District, Kutoarjo, Purworejo, Central Java, Indonesia. He was the son of KH. Abdul Aziz, from whom he received his earliest religious education and spiritual foundation.
